I wrote about a project I did over twenty years ago in which I made a video of Peter Blange setting. To watch that now is actually embarrassing, even though at the time it was cutting edge technology and took me several days of work to complete. The timings are terrible, you can’t see anything interesting at all. I needed to do a better version. Since 1997, technology has improved. This one took me an hour, including coding the actions. It is mesmerising. There are so many subtleties in body position and movement. But it is the wrist and shoulder strength and flexibility that give him his advantages.
