I am on record everywhere the topic comes up and many places it doesn’t, that these apps are an incredible tool for coaches. Indeed, I think coaches who don’t use these are crazy. As a quick overview, Science Untangled apps take normal Data Volley or Volley Station files in the *.dvw format and firstly correct them. Once corrected, these stock standard files, without any custom codes, are ready to analyse. All apps work with simple drop down lists that allow for any and all conceivable game situations to be analysed, for all teams and for entire leagues.
