Olympic Quarter Final Preview

I don’t know about anyone else, but I have been enjoying the last week of the Olympics. The men’s volleyball tournament at least. I don’t have any clue about anything else. 🙂 The matches themselves have been interesting, even if the quality has not always been of the absolute highest level. We can definitely say that Olympic stress is a real thing. Some (teams and individuals) with the highest expectations have not lived up to them. Others have played with a sense of freedom that comes from open ended expectations. As always the lesson is expectations are killers.

Special offer on webinars here.

With the help of our friends at Science Untangled, and having watched every single action of the tournament, I have produced these match previews. You can see the statistical comparisons in the major skill areas with the ranking among all the teams in brackets. You can also see the individual performances. By having a quick look you can make excellent, informed decisions of who should start for each team, and who will win these matches. And then tomorrow say, I must have missed something, as all your tips go awry. Click on the pictures to expand.
