The Career Highlight

I’ve been on this particular roller coaster ride for nearly 15 years now and have a pretty wide range of experiences.  I’ve participated in an Olympics and a World Championships and a cup final in Poland and countless smaller events.  I’ve been in Italy and Poland and Champions League and played the top teams in Belgium and Greece and Russia along the way.  But last Sunday was the absolute highlight of my career.  We played against Generali Haching at the Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin.  Over 5000 people packed in to see the game.  The pre game entertainment was the cast of ‘We Will Rock You’ performing ‘We Will Rock You’, live.  That the match ended so badly (for us) won’t (in the long term) diminish my memories of the occasion. I was proud to be a part of it and to be a part of the club responsible for it.
